What's on the board, and how it got there.
By the week the site first found them, split by discipline. Roles that were already open when we added a company's job board are left out - otherwise every board we add would look like a week of hiring. The line shows how many of each week's roles are still open.
Roles you can apply for today, by the week the employer posted them. It leans towards recent weeks because older listings get filled; anything older than six months - mostly always-hiring roles - is grouped at the start. About 6% of roles carry no posted date (Workday boards state none).
Open roles by discipline. Each block's width is that discipline's share.
Roles on the board each day, divided by the employers' job boards with at least one of them open. Boards with nothing for us don't count, so adding a batch of new boards doesn't drag it down. If employers who are hiring data people start hiring more of them, this goes up.
How much ground each day's polling covered. It steps rather than climbs because boards were added in batches - a record of building the radar, not of the job market.
